see, that's exactly what i'm trying to avoid. here was the team that was finally going to prove US soccer meant something and they proceeded to walk on the field and eat their own asses! as a supporter of that team i DEMAND that they repay my support in full and represent their nation with some evidence of a spine. their total apathy and tentative play was downright UNAMERICAN and they owe it to themselves, let alone all fifty seven of we US soccer fans, to make amends in the next match...
