just as someone in the office announces that they are going outside to feed the meter to avoid a parking ticket, delay them with a long-winded and wholly unnecessary story about how you thought you were going to be ticketed earlier that morning but were lucky enough to arrive just ahead of the parking enforcer, thereby insuring that the other party will, in fact, be ticketed.
